NOTICE OF DECISION
Please take notice that the West Deptford Township Planning Board ("Board") has granted an application for development filed by Daniel V. DiRenzo III ("Applicant") regarding real property located at the intersection of Crown Point Road and Salem Avenue, and designated as block 253, lots 1 & 2 on the current municipal tax map. The Board granted Minor Site Plan Approval to construct an approximately 2,000 sf building to be used as an instructional facility for firefighters and first responders, an accessory structure for fire rescue training, and other parking, fencing and landscaping improvements.
The Board also approved the following variances under the municipal land use ordinance:
1. To permit a 15.6-foot front yard setback where the minimum setback required is 25 feet.
2. To permit the use of repurposed shipping containers as accessory structures for fire rescue training.
3. To permit the omission of a dedicated loading space.
The Board granted this application on May 26, 2026 and its decision was memorialized in a written resolution that the Board adopted on June 23, 2026. A copy of the memorializing resolution is filed in the office of the municipal administrative officer. A copy is available to any interested party for a reasonable fee and is available for public inspection during municipal business hours.
