NOTICE OF DECISION PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at the conclusion of a hearing held before it on April 23, 2026, the Township of Voorhees Zoning Board granted bulk variance relief pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(c) to permit two (2) façade cabinet signs where only one (1) is permitted and use variance relief pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(d)(1) in order to allow the undersigned Applicant to establish and maintain a drive-through fast-food facility with a deli/convenience store at the 0.67-acre subject property located in the B-Business Zoning District where drive-through fast-food facilities are not specifically permitted, whereas deli/convenience stores are a permitted use. The relief obtained by the Applicant pertains to the property shown as Lot 7 in Block 26 on the Voorhees Township Tax Map, which property is located at 342 South Burnt Mill Road in the Township of Voorhees, Camden County, New Jersey. The subject property previously received minor site plan approval, change of use approval, and bulk variance relief pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(c) in order to permit the deli/convenience store at the 0.67-acre property formerly occupied by a bank with drive-through facility, and such approval was memorialized via Planning Board Resolution No. 24-14, adopted on May 22, 2024. The decision of the Zoning Board to grant the use variance relief pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(d)(1) and bulk variance relief pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(c) to permit the drive-through fast-food component of the facility was memorialized in a written Resolution adopted by the said Township of Voorhees Zoning Board on July 9, 2026 as Resolution No. 2026-18, and is available by contacting the Zoning Board Secretary at (856) 429-0647, or by requesting a copy of the same by directing an email to the Zoning Board Secretary at jgaffney@voorheesnj.com.
