NOTICE OF DECISION TOWNSHIP OF NORTH BERGEN PLANNING BOARD PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-10(i) and New Jersey Court Rule 4:69-6(3), the Township of North Bergen Planning Board memorialized the following Resolution at its meeting on October 7, 2025: Resolution of the Planning Board of the Township of North Bergen submitted by the Applicant, Safely Store, LLC for a Preliminary and Final Site Plan and Conditional Use Approval with Variances under Case No. 04-25, with regard to the property located at Columbia Park Shopping Center/3149 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, North Bergen, New Jersey, and identified on the Township of North Bergen Tax Maps as Block 77, Lots 36.01 and 36.02 (the "Property"). The Board approved the Applicant's application to convert the existing, vacant movie theater on Lot 36.01 to a self-storage facility; no changes are being proposed to the existing shopping center on Lot 36.02 and all existing conditions shall remain in place, other than the reduction of five (5) parking spaces on the lower parking level to accommodate the proposed self-storage facility. The application was heard before the Board on September 2, 2025, and the Resolution was memorialized on October 7, 2025.
