Notice of Found Property

The Lancaster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is in possession of found property that has been turned in to this agency. Items include, but are not limited to: a gold Samsung SM-J327P, a black Samsung SM-GSSOT, a black Samsung SM-GSSU, a black iPhone, an iPad, a black Motorola, an LG silver cell phone, a black Samsung Galaxy, a black Cricket phone, a black safe, Ruger EC9s, and currency. In accordance with 2981.12 or 2981.13 of the Ohio Revised Code, the agency is required to publish notice of found property prior to disposal. Individuals who believe they may be the rightful owner of any such property are asked to contact the Lancaster Post at (740)654-1523 or 3800 Lancaster-Circleville Rd SW Lancaster, OH 43130. Proper identification and proof of ownership will be required to claim items. If property is not claimed within 30 days of this notice, it will be disposed of according to law, which may include auction, donation, or destruction.
