ON THE 16TH DAY OF OCTOBER 2025, AT THE PINAL COUNTY EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER (EOC), 311 E 11th STREET, FLORENCE, ARIZONA, TO CONSIDER AN APPLICATION FOR MAJOR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE PINAL COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN. PZ-PA-010-25 – PUBLIC HEARING/ACTION: Silver King Solar, LLC, Dave Lundgren, applicant/agent, requesting a Major Comprehensive Plan Amendment to amend the Land Use Plan and re-designate 6,665± acres of land from Moderate Low Density Residential (MLDR, 1-3.5 du/ac) to Green Energy Production for photovoltaic solar generation facility, a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), substation and a generation-tie (gen-tie) transmission line, situated on a portions of sections 13, 14, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 34, 35, 36 of range 09E, T02S, and sections 18, 19, 30, 31 of range 10E, T02S, and sections 1, 2 of range 09E, T03S of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, tax parcels on file for reference, located to the south-west of Florence Junction, south of Queen Creek wash, north-east of Town of Florence, and five (5) miles to the north of E Arizona Farms Rd in unincorporated area of Pinal County.
