Notice of Intent to Enact Ordinance #487 Notice is hereby given that the Patterson Township Board of Commissioners will act on the adoption of Ordinance #487 at the year-end meeting, Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PATTERSON, BEAVER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA FIXING THE RATE OF TAXES FOR THE YEAR 2026 AND APPROPRIATING MONIES FROM ALL THE TOWNSHIP FUNDS IN THE AMOUNTS PROVIDED IN THE BUDGET. WHEREAS, the Patterson Township Board of Commissioners have caused to be prepared a Budget for all Township Funds for the year 2026; and WHEREAS, the aforesaid Budget has been read, advertised, made available for public inspection and duly adopted at a public meeting in accordance with the First Class Township Code; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED by the Patterson Township Board of Commissioners as follows: 1. TAX LEVY – The rate of taxation on the assessed valuation of all real property in Patterson Township for the year 2026 shall be three and sixty-five hundredths (3 and 65/100) mills, or .365 per $100.00 of assessed valuation. 2. BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS – There is appropriated from all Township funds the following monies: General Fund General Government: $607,828.00 Public Safety (Police, Fire, Code): $629,422.00 Health/Human Services/Recycling: $48,412.00 Public Works/Streets: $526,856.00 Parks/Recreation: $62,000.00 Building Loan/Capital Improvement: $290,393.00 General Fund – Expenditures: $2,164,911.00 General Fund - Revenues (includes 2025 cash carryover): $2,259,139.43 Capital Fund Revenues/Expenditures: $77,655.73 Liquid Fuels Fund Revenues/Expenditures: $93,392.74 Fire Truck Capital Fund Revenues/Expenditures: $68,440.51 Sewer Maintenance Fund Revenues/Expenditures: $576,786.76 Sewer Fund Expenditures: $886,550.00 Revenues (includes 2025 cash carryover): $1,012,290.63 REORGANIZATION MEETING The Patterson Township Board of Commissioners hereby serves notice of the reorganization meeting to be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is for the election of officers and any other business that comes before the Board of Commissioners.
