Notice of Intent to Remediate

Notice of Intent to Remediate Pursuant to the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act, the act of May 19, 1995, P.L. 4, No. 1995-2, notice is hereby given that Ambipar on behalf of DM Transportation LLC (DM) has submitted to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) a Notice of Intent to Remediate (NIR) for a site located along PA I-380 South, Jackson Township, Monroe County. This NIR states that the site is wooded land. The site has been found to be contaminated with diesel fuel which has contaminated soil. DM has selected the Statewide Health Standard (SHS), and they have indicated that the proposed remediation measures will be source removal and attainment sampling. The proposed future use of the property will remain wooded land. Notice is hereby given that DM will be submitting a combined remedial investigation/final report to the DEP to demonstrate attainment of the SHS for soil. DM has indicated that the remediation measures taken have attained compliance with the SHS established under the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act.
