Notice of Intent to Remediate to an Environmental Standard and Notification of Final Report Submission to PADEP (Sections 302(e)(1)(ii), 302(e)(2), 303(h)(1)(ii), 303 (h)(2), 304(n)(1)(i), and 305(c)(1)) Pursuant to the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act, the Act of May 19, 1995, P.L.4, No. 1995-2., notice is hereby given that Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores has submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP), Southcentral Regional Office, a Notice of Intent to Remediate and an Act 2 Final Report for the diesel fuel release that occurred at 22 Old Forge Road in the Union Township, Lebanon County. The Notice of Intent to Remediate indicates that the property was contaminated by diesel fuel, affecting both the soil and surface water. The Final Report states that the diesel fuel impact was remediated by soil excavation to attain compliance with the PADEP's Non-Residential Statewide Health Standards for soil as established under the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act.
