NOTICE OF INVITATION TO BID CITY OF CINCINNATI DIVISION OF PURCHASING DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND ENGINEERING READING AND SUMMIT IMPROVEMENTS PID 119753 SCOPE OF WORK The City of Cincinnati seeks qualified bidders for READING AND SUMMIT IMPROVEMENTS, PID 119753, an LPA project, BID REFERENCE NUMBER 263C909226. This project consists of a full intersection redesign at Reading Rd and Summit Rd in the City's Roselawn neighborhood. This includes the removal of slip lanes, the installation of a truck apron, the shortening of pedestrian crossings, the installation of ADA-compliant curb ramps, and the installation of a new traffic signal. The project's work includes earthwork excavations and embankments; concrete flatwork such as curbs, sidewalks, and drives; stormwater improvements such as manholes, inlets, and pipes; curb signage installation; curb ramps; and other associated roadway construction items. BID SUBMISSIONS Bidders must submit bids electronically through the City's Vendor Self Service website. Bidders must be registered to submit a bid. Bidders can register and submit bids at https://vss.cincinnati-oh.gov/vssprod/Advantage4. Bids will be received until February 9, 2026, at 12:00 noon local time. This bid will not be read publicly. No hard copies of bids will be accepted. Bids must be accompanied by a bid surety of not less than 10% of the bid amount and the successful bidder will be required to provide a performance surety of not less than 100% of the contract value. All bidders will be subject to the provisions of the Federal requirements regarding equal employment opportunity and disadvantaged businesses.
