NOTICE OF MEETING TO ADOPT
2026-2027 BUDGET AND CONDUCT PUBLIC HEARING
BREMERTON SCHOOL DISTRICT 100-C
BREMERTON, WASHINGTON
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505.060, that the Board of Directors (the "Board") of Bremerton School District No. 100-C, Kitsap County, Washington (the "District") will hold a regular meeting on June 18, 2026, commencing at 5:00 pm.
The meeting is called for the purpose of fixing and adopting the budget of the District for the ensuing 2026-2027 fiscal year. Prior to adoption of the 2026-2027 budget, the Board will hold a hearing for the purpose of receiving comments from the public on the 2026-2027 budget. Any person may appear at the hearing and be heard for or against any part of the 2026-2027 budget, the four-year budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of enrichment funding under RCW 28A.505.240. Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board shall fix and determine the appropriation from each fund contained in the 2026-2027 budget and shall, by resolution, adopt the 2026-2027 budget, the four-year budget plan summary, and the four-year enrollment projection.
The hearing will be held in person at the District Administration Building, located at 134 Marion Avenue N., Bremerton, WA 98312. A preliminary draft budget will be presented to the Board at its regular meeting on June 4th, 2025. The public is invited to attend in person or go online at www.bremertonschools.org to access a link to the meeting. 2026-2027 budget information is available on the District website (www.bremertonschools.org) or may be obtained by contacting Merridith Stevens, Director of Finance, at 360-473-1034.
