NOTICE OF NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING The Marion County Board of County Commissioners will hold a Public Meeting for the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study being performed for improvements to Marion Oaks Manor. The project limits are from SW 47th Avenue Road to CR 475. Improvements being considered include widening Marion Oaks Manor from two (2) lanes to four (4) lanes from SW 47th Avenue Road to SW 15th Court, extending Marion Oaks Manor from SW 15th Court to CR 475 with an overpass for I-75, multi-modal improvements, intersection improvements, and drainage retention areas within the project limits. The meeting will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Marion Oaks Community Center, located at 294 Marion Oaks Lane, Ocala, FL 34473. The Public Meeting will be conducted as an open house with maps, drawings and other pertinent information for public review from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be a presentation at 5:45 p.m. to provide an overview of the project. Project representatives will be available during the meeting to discuss the project and answer questions. This Public Meeting is being conducted to afford interested persons an opportunity to discuss proposed improvements and alternatives with project representatives. Feedback is encouraged through discussions with the project representatives along with written responses on comment cards. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
