NOTICE OF PASSAGE OF ORDINANCE Ordinance No. 8217 passed on September 23, 2025, amending the Amarillo Municipal Code: Chapter 4-10 at Sections 4-10-3, 4-10-61, 4-10-82, 4-10-85, 4-10-87, 4-10-152, 4-10-168, 4-10-170, 4-10-174, 4-10-211, 4-10-248, and 4-10-269, to add a new zoning district named Moderate Density District-1, defining allowed uses and standards for the new district, and to rename Moderate Density District to Moderate Density District-2; providing for a criminal offense and penalty; providing a repealer clause; providing a severability clause; and providing for publication and an effective date. This ordinance shall become and be effective on and after ten (10) days following the date of its second publication as required by the Charter of the City of Amarillo, but in no event later than October 18, 2025.
