NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
City of Great Falls Public Comment period for 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan, Citizen Participation Plan, and Annual Action Plan
Notice is hereby given that the City of Great Falls will open a Public Comment Period for the City's 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan for HUD-funded programs, on Monday, September 15th, 2025.
The City invites you to offer your comments and ideas on the draft 5-year Consolidated Plan, the amended draft of the Citizen Participation Plan, and the 2025-2026 Annual Action Plan. These documents will be available for a continuous 30-day comment period, beginning September 15th through October 15th, 2025.
The 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan is an update of previous year's plans, taking into account the current economic and social statistics. The Citizen Participation Plan has been updated to streamline the public hearing process, for timely updates to CDBG processes. The Annual Action Plan addresses best use of CDBG and HOME grant funds for the benefit of low and moderate income residents and/or removal of slum and blight, and is an implementation plan related to the priorities set forth in the 5-Year Consolidated Plan.
