NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING, ANDERSON COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Anderson County Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., in the Anderson County Historic Courthouse, 101 South Main Street, Anderson, South Carolina 29624, or at such other location within the said building as proper notice on the main entrance to the said County Council Chambers might specify. The purpose of such public hearing is to consider an ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING (1) THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO AN EXISTING FEE AGREEMENT (THE "FEE AGREEMENT") BETWEEN ANDERSON COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA (THE "COUNTY") AND WALGREEN CO., TO DESIGNATE A SPONSOR AFFILIATE UNDER THE FEE AGREEMENT, AND TO EXTEND THE PERIOD DURING WHICH ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROPERTY IS SUBJECT TO FEE IN LIEU OF TAX PAYMENTS; AND (2) OTHER MATTERS RELATED THERETO. At the public hearing, all taxpayers and residents of the County and any other interested persons who appear will be given an opportunity to express their views for or against the Ordinance.
