Notice of Public Hearing Before the Mount Holly City Council & Planning Commission
The City of Mount Holly City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 7:00 PM at City Hall, located at 400 East Central Avenue, in the first-floor City Council Chambers. This public hearing will be to consider a rezoning application and annexation petition, submitted by Alissa Grice & William Stewart Jr., for the rezoning & annexation of a 34.35-acre tract of land, located at Tax Parcel ID #'s 177847, 177844, 177594, 177846, and 218371, from R-1 (Gaston County) and R-12 (City) to a Conditional District Multi-Family zoning (Mount Holly) for multi-family townhomes and amenities. In addition, the Mount Holly Planning Commission will hold a separate public hearing at their meeting on Monday March 2, 2026 at 6:30 PM in the previously mentioned first-floor City Council Chambers in City Hall to review, consider, and provide recommendations to the City Council, regarding the above-mentioned rezoning application.
