Notice is hereby given that the City of Landrum will hold a public hearing before the Planning Commission on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 5:30pm at Landrum City Hall, located at 100 N. Shamrock Ave., Landrum, SC. The purpose of this hearing is to consider a rezoning action to amend the City's zoning map to rezone approximately 43.22 acres located on the W. side of Fairwinds Rd. and E. of Campbell Ave., identified at Tax Map Number 1-08-00-035.12 from Agricultural (AG) to Residential (R-1) in order to build an elementary school. All interested persons are invited to attend this hearing and will be given the opportunity to be heard regarding the proposed action. Written comments may be submitted prior to the hearing to April Williams at April.williams@cityoflandrumsc.com and must be received by 10:00am on Tuesday, May 26th.
