NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF ST. CLOUD, MINNESOTA ON A PROPOSED MODIFICATION TO THE ENABLING RESOLUTION OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF ST. CLOUD

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF ST. CLOUD, MINNESOTA ON A PROPOSED MODIFICATION TO THE ENABLING RESOLUTION OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF ST. CLOUD NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of St. Cloud, Minnesota (the "City"), will conduct a public hearing in the Council Chambers in City Hall located at 400 Second Street South on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be considered, for consideration of a proposed modification to the Enabling Resolution of the Economic Development Authority of the City of St. Cloud (the "EDA"). The purpose of the proposed modification is to clarify the allocation of responsibilities between the EDA and the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of St. Cloud (the "HRA"), and create administrative efficiencies in the control, authority, and operation of the various projects, activities, and programs provided by the EDA and the HRA. A draft resolution modifying the Enabling Resolution is on file and available for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk at City Hall during normal business hours. The resolution modifies Sections 4.01 and 4.03 of the Enabling Resolution, to allow the EDA to facilitate tax increment financing, and other programs and assistance, for economic development or redevelopment projects, including housing. Any person wishing to be heard with respect to the proposed modification of the Enabling Resolution will be heard orally or in writing at the public hearing.
