NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Zoning Board of Appeals
The Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of the Village of Douglas will hold a Public Hearing on February 24, 2026, at 7:00 pm, to consider the following application submitted by Turan Ufuk:
A variance request for relief of Section 18.01(1)(a)1. to reduce the required driveway entrance setback from 10 feet to 5 feet, and from Section 19.04(1)(d) to reduce the required rear parking setback from 12.5 feet to 5 feet, for the property located at 47 Center Street, Douglas, Michigan 49406 (Parcel No. 59-150-002-00). This application is available at the City of the Village of Douglas offices for public examination and review during normal business hours.
Interested persons may submit comments in writing before the public hearing or appear in person at the public hearing to become part of the hearing record. The City of Douglas will provide necessary and reasonable aids and services for disabled persons upon 7 days prior notice to the City Offices at (269) 857-1438.
