NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE NORTH COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT OF MONTEREY COUNTY SPECIAL ASSESSMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Directors of the North County Fire Protection District on June 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at 11160 Speegle Street, Castroville, CA 95012 to consider ordering the continuation of the Services, and the levy of the assessments for fiscal year 2026-27. The proposed assessment rate for fiscal year 2026-27 is one hundred and twelve dollars and forty-two cents ($112.42) per single-family equivalent benefit unit. Information on the proposal is available at 11200 Speegle Street, Castroville, CA 95012 and may be examined by any interested person. Members of the public are invited to provide comment at the public hearing, or, in writing, which is received by the District on or before June 16, 2026.
