NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FRESHWATER WETLANDS/WATERCOURSE/WATER BODY PERMIT
FISHKILL MEDICAL PARK
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Chapter 82, Section 82-9E. of the Code of the Town of Fishkill, the Town of Fishkill Planning Board (Planning Board) will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in the Francois R. Cross Meeting Room located in the lobby of the Town of Fishkill Town Hall, 807 Route 52, Fishkill, NY 12524 for a Freshwater Wetlands/Watercourse/Water Body Permit for the proposal known as Fishkill Medical Park, identified as Tax Map Parcel No: 6255-00-255525, consisting of 9.93 acres and Tax Map Parcel No. 6255-00-468570, consisting of 37.84 acres located on Snook Road in the R-40 Zoning District to conduct a regulated activity within a Town Wetland Buffer Area.
A Wetlands/Watercourse/Water Body permit approval is required for three (3) small areas of wetland buffer disturbance (Area A – 0.03 acres; Area B – 0.07 acres; and Area C – 0.03 acres) shown on the Fishkill Medical Park Grading Plans (Sheets G-1, G-2 and G-3) on file in the Town of Fishkill Planning Department. The total wetland buffer disturbance of 0.13 acres was determined in the SEQR (NYS Environmental Quality Review Act) Negative Declaration, adopted by the Planning Board on November 18, 2025, to be a minor disturbance given the area of wetland buffers left untouched on the site and the absence of any disturbance to the wetlands on the site. The Planning Board adopted a Resolution of Preliminary and Conditional Final Approval - Site Development Plan and Special Use Permit and a Resolution of Preliminary and Conditional Final Approval - Subdivision on December 13, 2025.
All interested persons will be heard by the Planning Board of the Town of Fishkill at the public hearing to be held as aforesaid. For any persons unable to attend the public hearing, email comments may be submitted in advance to dcolonna@fishkill-ny.gov.
