NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING HEALTH CARE FACILITIES REVENUE IMPROVEMENT AND REFUNDING BONDS

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING HEALTH CARE FACILITIES REVENUE IMPROVEMENT AND REFUNDING BONDS The County of Franklin, Ohio (the "Issuer"), acting by and through the County Hospital Commission of Franklin County, will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 8:00 AM in the South Conference Room, Second Floor, of the Franklin County Board of Health, 280 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio, to discuss the possible issuance by the Issuer of health care facilities revenue bonds in one or more series (the "Bonds") in a principal amount currently estimated not to exceed $24,000,000, pursuant to Chapter 140 of the Ohio Revised Code (the "Code"). The proceeds of the Bonds would be used by Friendship Village of Columbus, Ohio, Inc., an Ohio nonprofit corporation (the "Borrower") to (1) finance senior healthcare facilities, consisting of campus improvements and renovations, including elevators and HVAC improvements (the "Project"), (2) refund and retire the outstanding principal amount of the County of Franklin, Ohio Health Care Facilities Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2016A (Friendship Village of Columbus, Ohio, Inc.) (the "2016A Bonds") and the County of Franklin, Ohio Health Care Facilities Revenue Bonds, 2016B (Friendship Village of Columbus, Ohio, Inc. Project) (the "2016B Bonds," and together with the 2016A Bonds, the "Prior Bonds"), each dated March 30, 2016, the proceeds of which were used to finance and refinance, as applicable, the costs associated with (A) certain capital expenditures of the Borrower for senior healthcare facilities, including campus improvements, renovations and additional routine capital expenditures (the "Prior Project") and (B) the issuance of Prior Bonds, and (3) finance certain costs associated with the issuance of the Bonds. The Project and the Prior Project are located at the campus of the Borrower, which is located at 5800 Forest Hills Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio. THE BONDS SHALL NOT REPRESENT OR CONSTITUTE A DEBT NOR PLEDGE OF THE FAITH AND CREDIT OR THE TAXING POWER OF THE ISSUER, THE STATE OF OHIO OR ANY POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THE STATE OF OHIO. The initial owner and user of the Prior Project and the Project is currently expected to be Friendship Village of Columbus, Ohio, Inc. Interested persons are invited to attend this public hearing and will be given an opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed issuance of the Bonds.
