NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING IOWA CONFLUENCE WATER TRAILS Notice is hereby given that an in-person public hearing will be held by Iowa Confluence Water Trails on the proposed contract documents (plans, specifications, and form of contract) and estimated cost for the improvement at its meeting at 8:00, A.M. on March 26, 2026, at its office at 5000 Westown Parkway, Suite 225, West Des Moines, IA 50266 for the Birdland Marina Improvements Project. General Nature of Proposed Improvement Major items of work include Class 10 and Class 12 Excavation; topsoil stripping and respreading; clearing and grubbing of stumps; reinforced concrete launches + sidewalk; void-permeated boulders; revetment stone; regional water trail wayfinding & informational signage; erosion stone and grout; and site plantings. Also includes site electrical; PCC paving and sidewalk; storm sewer, structures, and related appurtenances; traffic control; tree protection and fencing; erosion and sediment control, SWPPP, and maintenance; seeding, fertilizing, M/BFM mulching, and mowing; and construction survey.
