NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, PROPOSED FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE LITTLE WALNUT CREEK HEADWATERS WETLAND AND GREENWAY FOR THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA. The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans, Specifications, Form of Contract and Estimate of Costs for the construction of the above referenced public improvements at 5:30 P.M. on March 16, 2026. At said hearing, any interested person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements. The work to be done is as follows: LITTLE WALNUT CREEK HEADWATERS WETLAND AND GREENWAY Construct Little Walnut Creek Headwaters Wetland and Greenway including all labor, materials and equipment necessary for approximately 45,000 CY of excavation and spreading for the construction of forebays, wetland pool areas and earthen embankments, a concrete weir outlet structure, storm sewer, erosion control, surface restoration and miscellaneous associated work, including cleanup. The Little Walnut Creek Headwaters Wetland and Greenway project is located north of NW MacArthur Lane and west of NW 10th Street.
