NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW OF ONTARIO COUNTY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Board of Supervisors of Ontario County at the Supervisors' Chambers, 74 Ontario Street, 2nd Floor, Canandaigua, New York on June 18, 2026, at 6:30 P.M. concerning proposed Local Law No. 3 (Intro.) of 2026, entitled "A Local Law Establishing an Animal Abuser Registry", which provides: For the creation of an Animal Abuser Registry in Ontario County requiring convicted animal abusers to register with the Ontario County Sheriff's Office and maintaining a public registry available through the Ontario County Sheriff's Office website to prevent animal abusers from owning, possessing, or haboring animals.
