NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE TENTATIVE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the County Legislature of Steuben County will conduct a Public Hearing on the Tentative Budget of said County for the fiscal year 2026 in the Legislative Chambers, 3rd Floor, Annex Building, Bath, New York on the 24th day of November, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda will allow. ALL PERSONS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND AND BE HEARD The Legislative Chambers is accessible to persons with disabilities. If special accommodations are needed for persons with disabilities, those with hearing impairments, or those in need of translation from English, those individuals should contact the Clerk of the Legislature's Office at 607-664-2247 at least one week in advance of the hearing date to allow for necessary arrangements. Copies of the Tentative Budget, which includes an exemption report as required under Section 495 of the New York State Real Property Tax Law, on which the Public Hearing will be held are available after November 15th for inspection by any interested person by appointment during regular business hours at the Office of the Clerk of the Legislature, 3rd Floor, Annex Building, 20 East Morris Street, Bath, New York.
