NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING AMENDMENTS TO THE 2024 FINGER LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE FACILITIES MASTER PLAN

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING AMENDMENTS TO THE 2024 FINGER LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE FACILITIES MASTER PLAN NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing pursuant to the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act will be held before the Board of Supervisors of Ontario County on December 18, 2025, at 6:30 PM in the Board of Supervisors Sessions Room, on the 2nd Floor of 74 Ontario St., Canandaigua, New York, 14424, to solicit public input regarding proposed Amendments to the 2024 Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC) Facilities Master Plan. The FLCC Facilities Master Plan was adopted by the Ontario County Board of Supervisors and the FLCC Board of Trustees in 2024 to provide holistic recommendations for modifications to physical spaces and resources that will best serve FLCC and its community in an evolving higher education landscape. The 2024 FLCC Facilities Master Plan can be found using the following link: https://www.ontariocountyny.gov/DocumentCenter/Index/2610 Since 2024, the BOS and the FLCC Board of Trustees determined that further study of the FLCC main campus bookstore, disability services, first floor student accounts was needed, and a new project included to support the FLCC Culinary programs as facilities it utilizes will no longer be available after 2026. The proposed Amendments to the 2024 FLCC Facilities Master can be found on line here: https://www.ontariocountyny.gov/DocumentCenter/View/50729/Proposed-Amendments-to-2024-FLCC-FMP All persons wishing to appear and be heard at such hearing may do so in person or by attorney or other representative. Written comments may be submitted until 5:00 PM in the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors on January 9, 2026 or submitted at the time and place of the public hearing. Copies of project materials, the Environmental Assessment Form prepared for this project, and attachments may be viewed in the Office of the Clerk of the Ontario County Board of Supervisors during regular business hours which are 8:30 AM through 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
