Notice of Public Hearing Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Tulare will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, November 10th, 2025, in the Council Chamber, 491 North M Street, Tulare, California, to hear a request by Lia Silva to operate a private school at 2100 E. Cross Avenue (APN 171-280-036). The proposed location is zoned (RM) Multiple Family Residential and is the current location of the Tulare Evangelical Free Church. The meeting is open to the public, and any person present will have the opportunity to be heard. This application has been filed under the provisions of Chapter 10.80 of Title 10 of Tulare City Code. The Community Development Department determined that this project is exempt pursuant to "In-Fill Development Projects" Section 15301 (Existing Facilities) of the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended. If you challenge the proposed project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Tulare at, or prior to, the public hearing.
