NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR SPECIAL ASSESSMENT LIGHTING DISTRICT ROLL
Township of Clyde St. Clair County, Michigan
The Clyde Township Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 6:45 p.m. at the Clyde Township Hall, 3350 Vincent Road, North Street, MI 48049 to review the 2025 Special Assessment Lighting District Roll, to consider any objection thereto, and to confirm the roll as submitted or revised or amended. The roll is in the total amount of approximately
$17,456.69 with a proposed Special Assessment not to exceed the amount of $73.74 per parcel. The roll may be examined at the Township Office during regular business hours, and/or may be examined at the hearing.
Pursuant to Public Act 64 of 1989, an owner, party in interest, or his or her agent: (1) may appear in person at the hearing to protest the special assessment; (2) may file an appearance and protest by letter, at the hearing; (3) may file an appearance and protest by letter prior to the hearing, in the office of the Clyde Township Clerk, 3350 Vincent Road, North Street, Michigan, during regular office hours. A written appeal may be filed with the State Tax Tribunal within (30) days of the confirmation of the special assessment roll, only if that assessment was protested as specified above.
The Clyde Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon (3) day notice to the Township Clerk in writing at 3350 Vincent Road, North Street, MI 48049, or by calling (810) 985-7258.
