Notice of Public Hearing NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that there has been duly presented to the Chemung County Legislature on the 8th day of December 2025, Introductory Local Law No. 3 for the Year 2025 "Local Law authorizing increase in salary of elected officials and certain appointed officials for a fixed term in the County of Chemung". Said Local Law is subject to a public hearing before the County Executive. A copy of this Local Law is on file with the Clerk of the Chemung County Legislature and may be viewed in that office during regular business hours at the Hazlett Building, 5th floor, 203 Lake Street, Elmira New York. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the County Executive will, pursuant to law, conduct a Public Hearing on the aforesaid proposed Local Law in the second floor conference room of the Hazlett Building, 203 Lake Street, Elmira, New York on the 17th day of December 2025 at 10:00 a.m., at which time all persons and interests will be heard. This hearing will be held in the manner prescribed by General Municipal Law, and all parties in interest and citizens will be heard at that time by the Chemung County Legislature.
