NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the following case(s) are scheduled for public hearing before the Kitsap County Hearing Examiner, on May 14, 2026. This public hearing will be conducted in a hybrid format. The Hearing Examiner and staff may participate in the meeting in person or remotely. AGENDA ITEM (A) Permit 24-01857: DALEY - Shoreline Type III Variance - Wetlands and Streams for Single-Family Residence (SVAR) Permit 25-00205: DALEY - Shoreline Substantial Development Project (SSDP) Project Description: Applicant requests approval of a Type III Variance and a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit to construct a 1,219 square foot footprint for a single-family residence (SFR) with an attached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) on a Shoreline Residential designated lot. The site is composed of overlapping critical areas including three wetlands, a Type F stream, steep slopes, and shoreline, which results in the lot completely composed of critical areas and buffers. A septic system drain field is proposed offsite on adjacent property with an easement agreement. A transport line will extend across the stream (via the future proposed I-Beam bridge) and up the steep slopes to the south. Mitigation is proposed.
