NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby provided that Holtec International Inc. ("Applicant") has filed an application for Preliminary & Final Site Plan approval with the City of Camden Planning Board. The subject property is identified as Block 455, Lot 1 and Block 457, Lot 16 on the City of Camden Tax Map ("Property"), located at 1 Holtec Boulevard. The Property is located in the PRI Zoning District.
There is presently the Holtec headquarters building, Holtec manufacturing building and warehouse building on the Property. The Applicant seeks approval to (1) construct a 74,870 sf expansion of the warehouse building and (2) to expand the parking lot behind the manufacturing building and expand the laydown area adjacent to the parking lot. The Applicant is seeking Preliminary and Final Site Plan approval for the project with a variance from Section 877-111 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a front yard setback of 16.6 feet where 25 feet is required. The Applicant will request all variances, deviations or waivers that the Board may deem necessary upon its review of the application.
The City of Camden Planning Board will conduct a public hearing on this application on May 14, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. via the Microsoft TEAMS platform. Copies of the Applicant's application, maps and papers are on file with the Administrative Officer of the Planning Board in the Planning Board Office at City Hall, 520 Market Street, Room 224, Camden, New Jersey. Interested parties should contact the Planning Office at AnMiller@ci.camden.nj.us to make arrangements to view the application documents. Any interested party may appear at said hearing via TEAMS and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Planning Board. Please take further notice that the Planning Board may, at its discretion, adjourn, postpone, or continue said review from time to time and you are hereby notified that you should make diligent inquiry of the Planning Office concerning such adjournments, postponements or continuations.
