NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Please be advised that the Town Council of the Town of Cloud Lake, sitting as the Board of Adjustment, has scheduled a public hearing to consider an application for variances from the Town's Zoning Code. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. at the Cloud Lake Town Hall, 100 Lang Road, Cloud Lake, Florida. The subject of the public hearing will be to consider the following variance requests:
OWNER/APPLICANT: Keith Ronald Munyan
PROPERTY ADDRESS: 111 East Chandler Road, Cloud Lake, FL.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot 7 and the west 25 feet of Lot 8, Block 6, CLOUD LAKE (Plat Book 18, page 46)
NATURE OF REQUESTS: 1) A variance from the Town's side setback requirements on the west side of the property in order to construct an open-sided roof structure approximately 20 feet in length and 11 feet 4 inches in width in order to provide covered access to the west side of the existing structure on the property and 2) a variance from the Town's side and rear setback requirements in order to install a shed at the rear west corner of the property.
All interested parties are encouraged to attend the Board of Adjustment meeting and be heard concerning these matters. Copies of the full text of the Application for Variance may be inspected by the public by contacting the Town Clerk at (561) 686-2815.
If a person decides to appeal the decision of the Board of Adjustment with respect to any matter considered at the public hearing or meeting herein referred, he or she may need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based. The Town of Cloud Lake does not prepare or provide such a record. The above matter may be postponed or withdrawn without prior notice.
