NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby provided that Miller Auto Leasing Co. ("Applicant") has filed an application for an Interpretation of the Zoning Ordinance with the South Brunswick Township Zoning Board of Adjustment ("Board") for property identified as Block 43, Lot 4 as shown on the Official Assessment Map of the Township of South Brunswick, and commonly known as 575-587 Ridge Road, South Brunswick, New Jersey ("Property"). The Property is located in the LI-1 Light Industrial Zoning District.
The Applicant is proposing to use the Property for the storage of vehicles it leases to customers and to do repair and maintenance of its fleet vehicles. The Applicant does not do repair work for vehicles that are owned by the general public. All of their repair work is done to the vehicles it owns and leases to its customers. Vehicles awaiting repair are stored on the property. The Applicant is seeking an interpretation from the Zoning Board to confirm that the LI-1 Zone permits a storage yard for garages with all vehicle repair and maintenance conducted within an enclosed structure.
The South Brunswick Township Zoning Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on this application on June 18, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction, New Jersey 08852. Any interested party may appear at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Zoning Board.
The application, all supporting documents, maps and all exhibits to be considered by the Zoning Board are on file in the office of the Zoning Board, in the Municipal Building, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction, New Jersey 08852 and may be inspected by interested persons during regular business hours (8:30AM – 4:30 PM) Monday through Friday, except holidays.
Please take further notice that the Zoning Board may, at its discretion, adjourn, postpone, or continue said review from time to time and you are hereby notified that you should make diligent inquiry of the Zoning Office concerning such adjournments, postponements or continuations.
