NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
SHASTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, County Administration Center, 1450 Court Street, Suite 263, Redding, California, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, for the Board of Supervisors of the County of Shasta, State of California, to consider comment regarding a petition to vacate the relinquishment of access rights to Gas Point Road (County Road No. 1H01B), private road right-of-way, and public utility easement for Lone Oak Way in the unincorporated area of Shasta County, in accordance with Streets & Highways Code § 8320 et seq.
The petition proposes the vacation of the relinquished access rights situated in the Southeast one-quarter of Section 1, Township 29 North, Range 5 West, M.D.M., in the unincorporated area of County of Shasta, State of California, more particularly described as follows:
A linear area along the Northerly right of way line of Gas Point Road as shown on Parcel Map 05-046 recorded in Book 37 of Parcel Maps at page 16, Shasta County Records, more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the intersection of the Northerly right of way line of Gas Point Road and Easterly line of said Section 1; thence South 86˚15'22" West along the said Northerly right of way line a distance of 343.02 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing along the said Northerly right of way line South 86˚15'22" West a distance of 100.00 feet to the POINT OF TERMINATION.
ALSO, all that portion of the "Lone Oak Way" Cul-de-sac shown as a Private Road Right of Way and Public Utility Easement on Parcel Map 05-046 recorded in Book 37 at Page 16, Shasta County Records, lying Northerly of the Northerly right of way line of Gas Point Road as shown on said 37 PM 16.
