NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN, SPECIAL USE PERMIT
AND FRESHWATER WETLANDS/WATERCOURSE/WATER BODY PERMIT
WILLOW LAKE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Chapter 150, Sections 150-97B.and 150-109 and Chapter 82, Section 82-9.E of the Code of the Town of Fishkill, the Town of Fishkill Planning Board (Planning Board) will hold a Combined Public Hearing on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in the Francois R. Cross Meeting Room located in the lobby of the Town of Fishkill Town Hall, 807 Route 52, Fishkill, NY 12524 for the proposal known as Willow Lake identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 6255-00-432320, located at 4 - 16 Willow Lake Drive, consisting of 92.82 acres, in the R-40 and R-4A Zoning District; Tax Map Parcel No. 6255-00-472382, located on Van Wyck Lake Road, consisting of 10.98 acres, in the R-40 and R-4A Zoning Districts; and Tax Map Parcel No. 6255-00-359445 located on Van Wyck Lake Road, consisting of 1.74 acres in the R-40 Zoning District for the following approvals and permit:
Site Development Plan Approval and Special Use Permit Approval (Town Code Chapter 150, Sections 150-97B. and 150-109) - for the adaptive reuse of several existing structures and amenities and for the construction of new improvements to include overnight motel accommodations for guests comprised of 32 semi-attached motel structures (64 units each approximately 600 SF in size) and 16 fully detached motel structures (each approximately 950 SF in size), accessory facilities including a restaurant with outdoor seating areas, a larger event space designed for group dining and special occasions, a welcome building, a small building serving as a trail head for on-site hiking, a spa building, a fitness building, an accessory flex building, hiking trails, parking and all other necessary site improvements.
Freshwater Wetlands/Watercourse/Water Body Permit (Town Code Chapter 82, Section 82-9E. - for proposed disturbance within the Town of Fishkill regulated Water Body/Watercourse 50 foot buffers.
All interested persons will be heard by the Planning Board of the Town of Fishkill at the public hearing to be held as aforesaid. For any persons unable to attend the public hearing, email comments may be submitted in advance to dcolonna@fishkill-ny.gov.
