NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Public Hearings will be conducted by the Board of Directors of the Apple Valley Fire Protection District on October 6, 2025 and November 17, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Fire Station 336, located at 19235 Yucca Loma Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307. The purpose of the hearings is to receive public input on Ordinances presented for review and adoption as listed below. Ordinance 64 Adopting Standards for the Determination, Enforcement and Abatement of Fire Hazards Ordinance 65 Adopting an Administrative Citation Program Ordinance 66 Adopting Minimum Standards for Fire Flow and Fire Protection Water Systems Ordinance 67 Adopting by Reference the 2025 Edition of the California Fire Code Part 9 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations and the 2024 International Fire Code Prescribing Regulations Governing Conditions Hazardous to Life and Property from Fire or Explosion, Providing for the Issuance of Permits for Hazardous uses or Operations and Establishing a Division of Fire Prevention and Providing Officers Therefore and Defining Their Powers and Duties And Repealing Ordinance 59 of the Apple Valley Fire Protection District. Ordinance 68 Establishing Fees for the Issuance of Permits, Special Clearances, Enforcement of Regulations and Plan Review Services Provided by the District. Ordinance 69 Prescribing Regulations Pertaining to Land Subdivisions and Developments Within the Boundaries of the Apple Valley Fire Protection District. Ordinance 70 Establishing Fees for the Response to Emergency and Non-Emergency Incidents and Miscellaneous Requests for Service Ordinance 71 Adopting by Reference the 2025 California Wildland-Urban Interface Code (CWUIC), Based on the 2024 International Wildland-Urban Interface Code Ordinance 72 Adopting a Board of Appeals The public is invited to attend and provide comments regarding the proposed Ordinances. Those wishing to be heard in support of or in opposition will be given an opportunity to speak during the hearing.
