NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF TAX ROLL AND WARRANT 2026 COLLECTION TOWN OF WAYLAND TAKE NOTICE, that I, Natalie J. Baird, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Wayland, County of Steuben and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of tax within the Town of Wayland for the year 2026. Said payments for the tax roll can be paid January 2, 2026– March 31, 2026 at the Five Star Bank – Wayland Branch during normal business hours and payments can be mailed or put in the drop box at the Town Hall, located at 110 North Main Street, in the Town of Wayland. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before February 2, 2026 without charge or interest. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest one (1%) percent if paid on or before March 2, 2026 and an additional one (1%) percent for each additional month or fraction thereof thereafter until such taxes are paid or until the return of unpaid taxes to the county treasurer pursuant to law. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law the tax roll of the Town of Wayland will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Steuben as of the 31st day of March, 2026.
