Notice of Requests for Inclusion of Farmland in Ontario County Consolidated Agricultural District #1 During the 2025 Annual Enrollment Period PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, In accordance with Article 25 AA §303-b. of the New York State Agriculture and Markets Law, this Board of Supervisors established November 1st -30th as the annual 30 day period within which a landowner may submit to the Board of Supervisors a request for inclusion of viable agricultural land within a certified agricultural district prior to the county established review period; and PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, That request for inclusion of 5 parcel of land has been filed by landowners with the Clerk of the Ontario County Board of Supervisors in Ontario County Consolidated Agricultural District #1 pursuant to §303-b. during the 2025 thirty-day period; and PLEASE TAKE TURTHER NOTICE, That 3 of the properties are already in the County Agricultural Districts; the remaining 2 inclusion requests involve the following properties. - Located in the Town of Farmington. Owned by Walter Polashenski with Tax Map No. 10.10-1-8.130. The property is 12.4 acres located at 4931 Maxwell Road. - Located in the Town of Phelps. Owned by Ryan F. Pierce and Robert J. Scott with Tax Map No. 77.00-2-9.100. The property is 19.7 acres located at East of SR 14 south of Tincan Aly, east and west of rail ROW. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, That the Ontario County Agriculture Enhancement Board reviewed the requested inclusions and found that 1 such parcel consists predominantly of viable agricultural land and its inclusion would serve the public interest by assisting in maintaining a viable agricultural industry within Ontario County Consolidated Agricultural District #1 and has submitted a report to the Ontario County Board of Supervisors with their review and recommendation to include the parcel at 4931 Maxwell Road in the T.
