NOTICE OF SOLICATION OF GENERAL CONTRACTORS FOR:
Wells Apartments Roof Replacement, 299 Floral Avenue, Johnson City, NY 13790
Sealed bids for the Wells Apartments Roof Replacement, in Johnson City, NY will be received until April 17th, 2026, 12:00 pm local time. Deliver Bid Proposals to: Delta Engineers, Architects, & Land Surveyors, 860 Hooper Road, Endwell, NY 13760. A summary of the bids received will be available to the public the following week upon request. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Bidding and Contract Documents and must be accompanied by references of similar projects. Bidders must have a minimum of 5 years successful experience in completion of similar projects.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a notarized Warranty Letter in lieu of a Maintenance Bond. The substantial completion date for this project is August 31st, 2026, and fully completed by September 15th, 2026.
Funding for this project is being administered by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Effective March 18th, 2026 Bid Documents may be obtained from the Architect by calling (607) 231-6600. Online access will be provided to prime bidders only.
A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on-site on March 25th, 2026 at 10:00 am. It is required that prospective prime bidders attend.
All questions regarding the project are to be submitted in writing anytime during the bid process to: Kim Seavey kseavey@delta-eas.com. Written questions will be received no later than 5:00 pm on April 3rd, 2026.
