NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE DESIGN, MANUFACTURE AND INSTALLATION OF WINDOWS LEHIGH ACRES FIRE CONTROL AND RESCUE DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION OFFICE BUILDING REMODELING PROJECT RFP #2026-01 The Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District (hereinafter referred to as "District") requests that interested parties submit formal sealed responses for the above-referenced Request for Proposals ("RFP"). The District is seeking responses from qualified responders to perform the design, manufacture and installation of windows related to the Administration Office Building Remodeling Project located at 1261 Homestead Road North, Lehigh Acres, Florida 33936 (the "Project"). To the greatest extent authorized by law, this Request for Proposals process is a competitive selection method that is being used to select a responder to enter into a written agreement with the District for the design, manufacture and installation of windows work/services for the Project as described herein. The Project work must be completed by no later than the agreed completion date negotiated between the District and the selected responder(s) during the Agreement negotiation phase of the RFP process or thereafter as agreed upon by the parties. The District reserves the right to withdraw and cancel this invitation at any time, without liability to any responders or prospective responders. The District reserves the right to retain all responses submitted and to use any ideas in a response regardless of whether that response is selected. The specifications and requirements informational package which govern this request can be obtained from Deputy Chief Rodolfo Naranjo (hereinafter sometimes referred to as the "Deputy Chief" or "Deputy Chief Naranjo"), or his designee, Phone 239-284-0024, EMAIL rodolfon@lehighfd.com or from the District's website at www.lehighfd.com. A mandatory pre-response onsite inspection of the District's Project located at 1261 Homestead Road North, Lehigh Acres, FL 33936, shall be held on March 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. with Deputy Chief Naranjo. The failure of an interested responder to attend the mandatory pre-response onsite inspection shall result in the automatic rejection of its response. The response due date/time is March 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. EST. All responses (five (5) written copies plus one electronic copy) shall be placed in a sealed envelope with the following title clearly indicated on the outside: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE DESIGN, MANUFACTURE AND INSTALLATION OF WINDOWS LEHIGH ACRES FIRE CONTROL AND RESCUE DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION OFFICE BUILDING REMODELING PROJECT RFP #2026-01 with delivery to the District, which must be received by the Deputy Chief, or his designee, at the administrative offices of the District at 11 Homestead Road South, Lehigh Acres, FL 33936, no later than the response deadline of 2:00 p.m. EST on March 26, 2026. Responses received after such time shall not be accepted. Responses delayed for any reason shall not be considered. Faxed and electronically mailed responses shall not be accepted. All costs and expenses related to the preparation and submission of a response are the sole responsibility of the responder. All prospective responders are cautioned not to contact any member of the District Board of Commissioners or District employees except for the Deputy Chief. It is anticipated that the qualified responses to this RFP will be considered and a decision on the selection/ranking of a qualified responder(s) will be made by the District Fire Chief, Robert Dilallo, to be scheduled at a later time. The District reserves the right to reject any or all responses in its sole discretion. The District also reserves the right to waive irregularities and technicalities, to re-advertise for additional responses, and to select the responder, who, in the District's sole opinion, is in the best interests of District.
