Notice PROCLAMATION OF THE MAYOR TOWN OF CHESTER, ARKANSAS Take notice, the Mayor of Chester, Arkansas, hereby proclaims the results of the election on the question of a levy of a one percent (1%) sales and use tax within the Town of Chester, Arkansas, placed on the ballot of the general election, November 5, 2024: Votes for 29 Votes against 17 The qualified voters of the Town of Chester, Arkansas, have passed and approved the levy and collection of a local sales and use tax in the amount of one percent (1%). The results as proclaimed shall be conclusive unless attacked in the courts within thirty (30) days after the date of publication of this proclamation.
