Notice to Bidders RE: 2026-1 CCMG Street and Stormwater Improvements City of Mitchell, Lawrence County, Indiana MEI Project # 2025007-01 Dear Prospective Biddder: Specifications for the above project are now available at the Loogootee Office of Midwestern Engineers, Inc. A CHA Company. The bids will be opened at 2:00 P.M. Eastern (Local) Time on February 12nd, 2026 at the City of Mitchell City Hall located at 407 South 6th Street, Mitchell, IN 47446. The project consists of: Street and Stormwater Improvements. A. Teke Burton Drive: From Elm Park Drive to Approx. 215' N. of Orchard Street. Approx. 690'x30' L.F. of Milling and Resurfacing and Stormwater Improvements B. North Ninth Street: From Hancock Avenue to Portland Street. Approx. 310'x24' L.F. of Milling and Resurfacing. C. North Ninth Street: From Portland Street to West Main Street. Approx. 2050'x24' L.F. of Milling and Resurfacing and Curb Ramp Improvements. D. Portland Street: From Ninth Street West to Terminus. Approx. 180'x35' L.F. of Milling and Resurfacing. Specifications may be obtained at the office of Midwestern Engineers, Inc. A CHA Company. The service charge for Contractors to view the specifications for preparing their bid is as follows: 1) Online viewing by download at midwesterneng.com/planroom - $150.00 per division and 2) Viewing paper-bound specifications - $400.00 per set. All service charges for viewing are non-refundable. When specifications are ordered from midwesterneng.com/planroom, instructions for payment will be provided in the downloading process. Requests for specifications to the office of Midwestern Engineers, Inc., paper-bound set, shall be accompanied by a check or money order. Overnight mailing of the specifications will not be provided. A paper bound set of Specifications are also on file at the City of Mitchell City Hall located at 407 South 6th Street, Mitchell, Indiana 47446 and at this office, located at 802 West Broadway St., P.O.
