Notice to Bidders

Notice to Bidders Sealed Bids for completion of the Precast Restroom Project 2026 as specified will be received by Columbus and Franklin County Metropolitan Park District at 1069 West Main Street, Westerville, Ohio 43081, until 10:00 a.m., local time, April 22, 2026, and at that time and place publicly opened and read. Copies of the Contract Documents are available by emailing Steve Studenmund, studenmund@metroparks.net. The Metro Parks will not be responsible for any plans and specifications obtained from any other source. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Metro Parks Headquarters, 1069 W. Main Street, Westerville, Ohio 43081 at 10:00 am on April 16, 2026 to answer questions and to review the Project. The estimated cost of this project is $140,000. The Substantial Completion Date for the project is November 3, 2026. The Precast Restroom Project is not subject to Prevailing Wage requirements of Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4115. Each bid shall contain the full name and address of each person or company interested in the same and shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of (i) a bid guaranty and contract bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.54 and 153.571 naming the Columbus and Franklin County Metropolitan Park District as obligee for the total amount of the Bid, including all add alternates, or (ii) a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, including all add alternates, as prescribed by Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54. Metro Parks reserves the right to accept the lowest and best bid, the right to waive irregularities in any proposal, and the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof.
