Notice to Bidders Notice is hereby given that the Kankakee River Basin and Yellow River Basin Development Commission (Owner) will receive sealed bids for the construction of the KANKAKEE FWA CONTROL STRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT DESIGN. Sealed bids will be received on behalf of Owner by Indiana Department of Natural Resources at the Kankakee Fish and Wildlife Area Office (4320 W. Toto Road, North Judson, IN, 46366) until 5:00 PM (Central) on Friday, June 12, 2026. The purpose of this project is to increase water retention within the Kankakee Fish and Wildlife Area (FWA). This will be achieved by excavating a notch in an interior berm of the Kankakee FWA. The notch will be armored with revetment riprap and turf reinforcement mat and the gravel road surface formerly on the crest of the berm will be restored. The Contract Documents will be provided electronically upon request.
