NOTICE TO BIDDERS TOWN OF NORTH CASTLE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of North Castle will receive sealed bids for the INSTALLATION OF PAVEMENT MARKING ON TOWN ROADS IN THE TOWN OF NORTH CASTLE in accordance with the specifications. Sealed bids will be received by mail or in person at the Office of the Town Clerk, Town of North Castle, 15 Bedford Road, Armonk, New York 10504, until 10am. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, and immediately thereafter the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Complete specifications and bid forms may be obtained on or after March 18, 2026 at the following link: https://www.northcastleny.com/bids.aspx Potential bidders who have downloaded the Bid Documents shall provide their contact information to highway@northcastleny.com in the event any addendums to the Bid Documents are issued. All materials shall meet the New York State Department of Transportation specifications and any other additional Town specifications unless otherwise noted. TRAFFIC PAINT MUST MEET ALL APPLICABLE STANDARDS, REGARDING THE PERCENT OF VOCS (VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS), as directed by the USEPA, NYSDH and NYSDOT for architectural paints to be used in the New York Metropolitan area (Westchester County). Further the paint shall meet the criteria for the NYSDOT as expressed under the current State Contract for Traffic and Pavement Marking Paint. In awarding the bids, the Town Board will take into consideration the availability of materials due to plant location. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to award the Contract to there than the lowest Bidder if deemed in the best interest of the Town to do so.
