NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS AND ALL OTHER PERSONS
AFFECTED OF ADOPTION AND CONTENT OF RESOLUTION
OF THE TIPPECANOE COUNTY REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOLUTION
Taxpayers of the Tippecanoe County Redevelopment District and all other persons affected hereby are notified that the Tippecanoe County Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission"), at a meeting held on March 31, 2026, adopted its Resolution No. 2026-01-RC (the "Declaratory Resolution") approving the enlargement of the McCarty Lane – Southeast Industrial Expansion Economic Development Area and allocation area (collectively, the "Area") to include certain additional parcels described therein and a new project for the economic development plan for the Area (the "Plan") consisting of the funding of economic development improvements and job training expenses related to a new manufacturing project to be constructed and operated by or for the benefit of Sustainea Bioglycols, LLC within the Area.
The Commission will use incremental real property taxes levied and collected in the allocation areas described above in accordance with Indiana Code 36-7-14 and Indiana Code 36-7-25 to finance various road improvements, utility infrastructure improvements and economic development projects, all in or connected to the Area (collectively, the "Project"). The Declaratory Resolution, the Plan for the Area, and supporting data including maps and plats describing the Area, including the enlarged portion thereof, have been prepared and can be inspected at the office of the Secretary of the Commission, Tippecanoe County Office Building, 20 North Third Street, Lafayette, IN 47901 (the "County Offices").
Notice is further given that the Commission on June 8, 2026, at the hour of 2:00 p.m., local time, in the County Offices, will receive and hear remonstrances from persons interested in or affected by the proceedings pertaining to the proposed Project and will determine the public utility and benefit of the proposed Project. The Commission will hold a public hearing with respect to the Declaratory Resolution described above. At the time fixed for the hearing or at any time prior thereto any person interested in the proceedings may file a written remonstrance at the office of the Secretary of the Commission at the County Offices, if filed prior to the time fixed for the hearing or with the Secretary of the Commission if filed at the hearing. At the hearing, which may be adjourned from time to time, the Commission will hear all persons interested in the proceedings and all remonstrances that have been filed. After considering this evidence, the Commission will take final action by either confirming, modifying and confirming, or rescinding the Declaratory Resolution.
