Permissive Referendum NOTICE OF RESOLUTION NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners of the Goshen Fire District, Orange County, New York, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of November 2025, duly adopted a resolution, subject to permissive referendum, an abstract of which is as follows: WHEREAS, the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Goshen Fire District, New York, on December 29, 1993 established a Capital Reserve Fund known as "Goshen Fire District Capital Reserve Building" in which there remains approximately $413,442; and WHEREAS, the Board of Fire Commissioners has determined they need to do Building Repairs to all three firehouses out of said fund, for which the estimated maximum cost of said specific object, or purpose including preliminary costs and costs incidental thereto is $300,000.00. NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED that the sum of $300,000.00 is hereby appropriated for the Building Repair to all three firehouses thereto pursuant to the general provisions of Section 6-g subdivision 7 of the General Municipal Law, and it is further RESOLVED that the Fire District Secretary, within 10 days after the adoption of the within resolution, in the same manner as provided in the notice of annual election, shall publish a notice setting forth the date of the adoption of the within resolution and containing an abstract hereof, specifying that the within resolution was adopted pursuant to a permissive referendum pursuant to Section 6-g subdivision 4 of the General Municipal Law.
