Prequalification Ad Blum Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager @ Risk by Yancey County Schools and is seeking to pre-qualify construction trade contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment and tools for the Yancey County Schools – Misc. Renovations project. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project includes roof repair & replacements, new gymnasium flooring and bleachers, window replacements, finish replacements, and mechanical, electrical & plumbing system updates across four schools in Yancey County: Burnsville Elementary School, Cane River Middle School, East Yancey Middle School, and Mountain Heritage High School. Principal trade contractors are solicited for the following bid packages: BP0240 Demolition | $300K BP0400 Masonry | $25K BP0550 Misc. Metals | $150K BP0750 Roofing | $3.25M BP0843 Translucent Wall Assemblies | $250K BP0925 Drywall & Ceilings | $200K BP0960 Flooring | $50K BP0964 Wood Gym Flooring | $500K BP0990 Painting | $150K BP1266 Telescoping Bleachers | $600K BP2200 Plumbing | $250K BP2300 HVAC | $1.75M BP2600 Electrical | $650K Additional packages may be added and deleted by the Owner and Construction Manager.
