PSE&G Application for Statewide Blanket Utility Permit to NJDEP PUBLIC NOTICE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) Statewide Utility Blanket Permit FOR APPROVAL Take Notice that an application for an authorization under a Flood Hazard Area (FHA) Individual Permit, Freshwater Wetlands (FWW) General Permits (1, 2, 12 & 21), Waterfront Development Individual Permits (Upland and In-Water), Coastal Wetlands Individual Permit, Coastal Zone Management (CZM) General Permits (19 & 23), and Water Quality Certificate has been submitted to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Land Resource Protection for the project described below: Applicant: Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) Project Name: Statewide Utility Blanket Permit Project Description: The above referenced permits will continue to allow PSE&G to cover all gas and electric utility activities including vegetation maintenance, utility infrastructure repair, replacement, and maintenance, and geotechnical investigations. PSE&G will abide by its strict protocols and standard operating procedures while performing these activities, which are protective of the environment including regulated waters and associated riparian zones, as well as the State's rare, threatened and endangered plant and animal species.
