PUBLIC HEARING HOPEWELL PLANNING COMMISSION The Hopewell Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in the Municipal Building, 300 North Main Street, Hopewell, Virginia 23860, for the purpose of receiving comments regarding the following request: Modification of Development Standards – Case 2026-0481: A request submitted by City of Hopewell Public Schools to install an accessory structure in a side yard on Parcel #013-1166 located at 300 S. 18th Ave. and located in the R-2 Residential Medium Density District. Information regarding the above-referenced matter may be examined at the Department of Development, Municipal Building, 300 N.
